Stayed here for 11 nights and appreciated our choice. We booked triple room and could use wake-up service, available in it. It had a bidet in the large bathroom. All the staff were attentive, affable. The location was best possible and quiet for vacation in Matara...

The ocean view from the terrace was delightful, and the pool was a refreshing oasis. The food options were diverse, from local delights to international favorites. I even tried snorkeling, and let's just say the fish and I had a real bonding moment.
The staff seemed to have a secret plan to test my patience, but hey, who doesn't love a little adventure?

The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a balcony to relax on. The swimming pool was amazing, perfect for relaxing and cooling off after a day at the beach. The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the beach area, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful coastline.
There were some issues with the staff. It was difficult to get help as they always had to call the manager, who was often not on the property and took a while to arrive.

Tastefully designed en-suite bathrooms with modern fittings kept me pampered during my stay. Like stepping into a luxurious spa! The private balcony facing the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean was my own slice of paradise. Sipping on a "kurumba" cocktail, it felt like I was floating on a cloud. The restaurant's unforgettable dining experience was like being serenaded by the Indian Ocean's gentle whispers. The fresh sea breeze added an extra touch of magic to every bite.
Pool cleanliness needs improvement.

The rooms were spacious and cozy, with all the necessary amenities like air conditioning and satellite TV. The property was well-maintained and had a nice ambience. The staff were friendly and supportive, always ready to assist with a smile. A major advantage was the proximity to the beach, which was just a short walk away. the pool was fantastic and provided a great place to relax and unwind.
There were some downsides to my stay. the check-in process was quite lengthy and inconvenient, as I had to wait for a considerable amount of time until someone arrived to open the property.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at a charming hotel near the beach. The room we got had a beautiful balcony with stunning views of the ocean, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sound of the waves. The high ceilings and spaciousness of the room added to the overall comfort. The pool was also a highlight, providing a refreshing escape from the heat. The location was ideal as well, with easy access to the beach and other attractions in the area. Despite a few minor inconveniences, we had a great time overall and would recommend this hotel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The standard triple rooms at Kaminrich Cottage are the perfect place for families to relax and unwind. The spacious en suite bathrooms are beautifully designed and kept immaculately clean. The queen size Mahogany bed is incredibly comfortable and covered in soft white linen, making for a peaceful night's sleep. Plus, the mini fridge and Satellite TV add an extra touch of convenience and entertainment. With the balcony offering stunning sea views, it's easy to see why this room is a great choice for a family vacation.
The only thing I didn't love was that not all rooms have a seating area. Others might find this feature less important, but I personally enjoy having a separate space to relax in.

The location was ideal, with a short walk to a local beach and nearby "private" beaches to relax at. Taking a Tuk Tuk to the city was convenient and affordable. The accommodation was clean, quiet, and had a friendly keeper. The breakfast by Vasanth was tasty.
Everything was spot on.
